I bought a running skirt.

Yep.

So my post about the Fastinista made me realize I needed to try one out--a running skirt. On WomenTalkSports I received a comment that made me order one.

Anyway, I only think it is fair that I order a skirt, wear it, review it on my blog. Based on the feedback, it seems I am missing out.

So here it is:

Kinda excited about it.

I have two and love them both. I find I chafe less in them than any running shorts I have (even spandex ones) and I feel like my range of motion is better. Hope you like it!

Oh yes, this is one review I want to read! I actually think that skirt is cute and if you run a sub 2:55 in that I will buy one!! (I will then also expect to run a sub 2:55 and be sorely disappointed I'm afraid-ha ha!)

Running skirts are VERY comfortable to run in.

Oh no. Now I'll have to take back my comment about running skirts. Actually, I never said anything bad, just wondered who runs in them.

For the record, it is cute!! :D

anxiously awaiting the review. I have several, but still haven't found the perfect one yet. I love the way I feel in them, but I find all of the legs "ride up" which drives me crazy. I use them for shorter runs (like 6 and under) So far, NOTHING comes close to my Lulu Groovy Run shorts for longer runs. (Jenn recommended) (they are discontinued - boo)

I bought one by accident off a clearance rack last year....thought I was grabbing shorts in my size. Now I'm hooked. I have 2 and they are my favorite, especially for long runs. They also tend to have better pockets.
